Mark Hancock

Mark Hancock serves as Founding Partner of Hancock Construction, bringing more than four decades of construction industry experience and a lifelong commitment to building both people and projects. A Hoover, AL resident originally born in Indiana, Mark began his career working on framing crews and carrying lumber during his high school years, eventually growing into a licensed General Contractor and Home Builder with experience across nearly every aspect of the construction process. More than construction itself, he is driven by relationships—caring for clients, investing in teams, and fostering a culture where people and families can flourish.

  • Mark lives in Hoover with his wife, Susie and dog Milo.

  • He and Susie have 4 grown kids (Joel, Lauren, Meghan and Noah) and 5 grandkids.

  • Mark enjoys fly fishing, spending time with friends and family, as well as church-based small groups.

  • He actively supports efforts that support marriage, family unity, and strong communities.

  • If you can manage to persuade Mark to come to happy hour, he'll most likely be ordering a bourbon!
